Does anyone love Google Maps as much as I do? It’s not only a FREE service, but it’s the best hands down (next to TELENAV) for a location based service. I have tried them all including the new BlackBerry Traffic offered by RIM, and I always find myself going back to Gmaps. Google has pushed through v4.5.1 and it is now available to download. With this current update, the application finds my GPS location within 5meters, which is the best it’s ever been for me. I also noticed that all of my Google Contacts were pushed to my Latitude feature within the application. I have never noticed it do that before. A changelog has not been released on Google's site however, some of the new features include:
- Filter Search Results by Distance or Rating
- Place Pages show prices, cross streets, and full opening hours.
