Thread: BlackBerry Messenger Updated to 5.0.1.41

BlackBerry Messenger has been updated today to version 5.0.1.41!! Yes, you heard me right, another version is out for you to play around with.

The highlight of changes in this version are as follows:

• Bug fixes to improve the overall user experience.
• Simplified sending of pictures and voice notes.
• More user-friendly wording and organization in menus.
• Support for a simpler, one line view of contact list.
• Support for both deleting an unsent chat message (Shift-Del) and escaping out of a chat while retaining an unsent chat message (Escape button).

It is just shy of six Mb so I hope you have the room on your device. I guess now would be the time that you either have bare bones on an older device, or have recently upgraded. Regardless, I hope you enjoy this new version.

I can see where it says 5.9 mb in the pic above, but I'm downloading it right now and it says the file is 2.9 mb, not much bigger than 5.01.38

Downloading it for my Bold 9000 with 5.0 OS and it says 2.8 MB.

I think the picture is showing the multi language version. The English version is 2.8MB.

I always try my best not download thru Appworld, the files are usually larger. Usually just type it in my browser. www.blackberry.com/messenger always worked for me.

if your running a leak copy of os 6 don't mess with bbm update it will not run with a leaked os 6 makes your icon go into hiding
