    New App: Stoptilt- Stop Autorotation of the storm

    StopTilt: Disable Auto Rotation on Storm - Personal Productivity Blackberry Software

    Just found this new app and it is fantastic. It allows you to pick which screens you would like to have autorotate between portrait and landscape. Its called StopTilt.

    Its customizable to specific programs and you can enable and disable it anytime you want. Well worth the $2.99 best app I have on my phone right now

    I have to 2nd Nikki on this. I purchased StopIt yesterday and it is greaaaaat. Right now, it does not work with most 3rd party apps, but does work with just about all of the native apps.

    I did notice that it doesn't work on 3rd party apps. The place I find it most useful is on the homescreen. It drives me crazy that every time you lay the phone down it switches to landscape. Not anymore. On phone calls... disabled! As a matter of fact I think the only place I have it enabled is on the clock and web browser:fing02:

    Rellims can you do me a favor? I am trying to get a good solid memory number on my phone today so I don't want to do any battery pulls. I was just told by Zazz over on CB that the options for this don't save after a battery pull. Can you reset it and let me know? That would be to bad if it is true.

    i just checked everythingberry and there is another app. called storm rotation wizard. i guess they both work the same. im gonna try them both and see which 1 takes up the least space onthis 1gig of on board memory i have.

    No it does not save the settings on reboot (bummer). Also it asks to reboot on install so that would also kill you mem test. I emailed the developer to see if that can be included in an update.

    Hmm thanks Rellims your the man! I already downloaded it and have it installed but it did not ask to reboot for me? Yeah that is a bummer about not saving your settings, I just read about the other app out there but apparently that does not save the settings after a reboot either.

    Hopefully a new update and they can fix that

    Great app, Im running the vista complete theme with stoptilt, perfect combination. The Enable/Disable is in the bb menu. Just what i was hoping would come along. Crackberry had a blog with another app this one does alot more and its the same price in the crackberry app store til may 18, $2.99

    Thank you Nikki. I got and loaded it. Works perfectly. Finally an App that stops the rotation.
