Thread: BerryWeather 2.5 Released

After a long beta phase, one of the best weather apps (in my opinion) for your BlackBerry has just been updated to version 2.5 and comes with a slew of new features and bug fixes. Some of the new features include push support, custom icons, sharing weather and advisory via Twitter, support for BlackBerry LBS (location based services), and improved weather alert support and filtering just to name a few.

Head on over to the Bellshare website to see the full feature list. You can download and install the new version over your existing version and try out the new features for yourself. If you do not have BerryWeather currently installed on you BlackBerry you can still download it and give it a try for yourself, it has comes with a free trial period before you have to purchase a license.

I am using the update. Seems to be great.

Thanks, it was very frustrating ... but looks like the "auto" setting for my connection type was not working, had to set it to BIS and even then took a while before it would like my location.
