Gave this a try, rebooting now, will see if it works. Will enabling the firewall cause any problems with anything else?

I get another pop up now about it not being a trusted source... any idea about that one?

scratch that.... after the reboot the permissions and firewall were set back to where they previously were... odd, to say the least...

    <img style="border: 0px none ;" alt="Bolt by Bitstream - Lightning fast Mobile Browsing" width="701" height="206"> Hi!
Thanks to the contributions of over two million beta testers like you, we are proud to announce that we’re officially dropping the beta tag with today’s release of BOLT 1.5.
You will be automatically prompted to upgrade the next time you launch BOLT.
Many of the most significant upgrades occur “under the hood,” but you are sure to notice the results – v1.5 is the most reliable, fastest browser we have ever released – more than 15% faster than Beta3.
Other new features include the ability to stream videos of any length, a dedicated search bar, a download manager that downloads files directly from BOLT, improved navigation and text rendering, and a caching feature that enables browsing back to a previously visited page without waiting to reload.
This would have never happened so quickly without the feedback and vocal support of our beta testers. BOLT 1.5 is easy enough for anyone to use, so please pass this along to anyone you know who would enjoy a super-fast, feature-rich mobile browsing experience.

Basically it looks like they're upgrading.

I have an issue with it,
when trying to download from a OTA link it doesn't see it as a mobile browser so meaning it will not download it.

but on the other hand it very fast.
    nice job

When you are in the BB browser, go into browser config and make sure that the browser identification is set to BlackBerry and not IE for Firefox.
