Labyrinth - Now Available for the BlackBerry Torch 9800

Growing up I remember playing this game. Before it every made its way into the electronic world, it was made in all different forms. No matter if it was made to fit in your hand, sit on a table or the size of a table; it always seemed to be made of wood. The game was/is very fun, yet very challenging. It takes a steady hand and good reflexes not to lose this game. Winning is not so simple, and can take time to master.

Now it is available for the Torch.
For those who are thinking "If its on my phone it should be easier" The Answer NO WAY! It is not the slightest bit easier.

Labyrinth - In Greek mythology, the Labyrinth (Greek λαβύρινθος labyrinthos) was an elaborate structure designed and built by the legendary artificer Daedalus for King Minos of Crete at Knossos. Its function was to hold the Minotaur, a creature that was half man and half bull and was eventually killed by the Athenian hero Theseus. Daedalus had made the Labyrinth so cunningly that he himself could barely escape it after he built it. Theseus was aided by Ariadne, who provided him with a skein of thread, literally the "clew", or "clue", so he could find his way out again.

Somewhere along the line, it was turned into a classic wooden game where you control a steel ball to find a way to finish hole. Below you can see a few images of some origanal and replica Labyrinth wooden games. They were made or could be made in many different sizes, however always a square shape.

Now, Labyrinth has been reinvented again. Labyrinth is now available on your BlackBerry Torch. After you download and install this wonderful game, it could not be any easier to use. Mastering it, now that is hard. As you tilt your BlackBerry the ball will weave its way through the maze but watch out for the objects (blocks, holes, teleports). With a lot of levels and variable ball speed to match your skill level you will have hours of entertainment. This is no joke, I sat here for almost 3 hours playing this game last night. It is very fun and yet very frustrating at the same time.

    Hope you enjoy the Game!!!
