Well it is about time we see 1.8! Facebook 1.8.0.30 was briefly released to the beta zone members earlier today but then pulled shortly afterwards. Now RIM has released 1.8.0.49 into App World and comes with some pretty nice updates. Take note that this release is not available to everyone, there is some confusion whether this update is available to only specific devices. Click the link and find out if you're a lucky one and be sure to hit the forums and discuss your findings.

I don't have app world installed nor i want it, so is there no other way to update?
It works great NO lag I mean none. You get all your post on one page and guess what? you guessed it, you now get ALL notifications and feeds on time. However you have the option to turn them off if you want to. Really works good (for me)

I love how it automatically loads more without having to click to get more. Still no way to get rid of those damn mafia wars and other useless things I get postings for. How bout that option? I know you can do it on the computer. Oh well, its "Go to mobile site" for me :( Oh by the way, it loads way more quickly than the last version! Just check it out when the friends list updates, WOW!
