This looks very promising. I wonder how easy it would be to set things up so that your uploads of files do not use the company's servers. But other than that, it looks very good ;-)
I just wish you could select multiple files (such as pictures) to send in an email. I did ask the company and they said maybe in the next release and they are working on it.
Hmmm... that's strange one cannot do that because in their FAQ it states:
"vPost? allows users to take and/or attach any combination of up to 5 pictures, video or audio recording as long as they do not exceed the recommended total file limit. You can remove any individual attached file by bringing the image in the center of the image ring and then pressing from the menu item "Remove Image."

Well I just downloaded it again ans sure enough I can attach several pictures at once. I don't remember this running so poorly when I tried last time? I had to disable compatibility mode (which I don't remember having to do last time), but that is besides the point I am just happy that I can attach multiple pics now.
Thanks for the kick in the butt statustray
OK just so everyone can read this apparently I am a dork according to my wife. I was complaining that I looked like a fool posting that you couldn't attach multiple pics and it turned out you could. I was swearing up and down that you used to not be able to. And she says and I quote "isn't that the program you were bitching about, that you couldn't select multiple files at one time." Well the bell went off that was my original issue with this program and that is what I emailed them. Man where would be without our wives remembering everything:damnit1:
:duh:

Hey, just found this thread.
I'm Kyle Kemper from Vayyoo. I've worked with vPost in many ways and it's changed the way i use my BB...i hope it can d the same for you.
Let me introduce vPost as i use it first.
I have it set as my right hotkey for simple access; once you use it a bit you'll realize you never need to go back to the default multimedia recording applications (Camera, Video Recorder, Audio Notes) ever again.
I have setup a posterous.com blog site for easy online publishing by email. The guys over at posterous take incoming email and post it to yourname.posterous.com blog, they also pipe multimedia and messages to pretty much all the major sites. There are lots of sites that accept via email but some do not (facebook, youtube, & twitter stand out). Posterous.com has unbelievable integration with facebook to the point when i upload more than 3 photo's in an email it creates a new album in fbook.
With vPost you can easily annotage, GEO-TAG, and attach up to 15 attachments (picture, video, or audio) in a single email; there are RIM BES and BIS total email size restrictions around 4 mb's..
My favourite widgets are set to posterous.com and myself (vPost memo's via email). I include people's emails in my address book so it's easy to share better information in a cheaper and faster way (Solid Data-Plan required)
I recommend trying out the premium version sold through mobi-hand stores. In version 2.1.0.85 you have a 14-day free trial to explore the app, afterwhich if you do not buy the app it will revert to the lite version which has a 1mb size limit.
I also recommend setting your camera to medium size, superfine quality for optimum performance...this way you can send 15 pics in an email vs. maybe 5 at large-superfine.
The slogan we're using is "Capture, Prepare & Share" what do you think? Any suggestions?
If anyone has questions you can email me at kkemper at vayyoo dot com
