i have a question. i cant remember upgrading my BBM but I lost the PREVIEW button when receiving photo thru BBM.
i have a 5.0.0.57 version right now. just a couple of days ago, i can still preview before accepting. now i have to accept first before i can see the pix.
is there a way to bring back the preview option without downgrading my BBM if its a version problem?

Hey Jinda, I've requested help for the situation as I'm not 100% sure on the answer. BUT, I would suggest downgrading and reupgrading :) OR simply remove BBM and redownload it. One of those methods should work for yah, but I'm not 100% sure.
I am not sure, but what I would do is either have someone you know upgrade to that version and see if the problem repeats itself
or
If someone can chime in for you in this thread, then we can verify it that way.
My gut is that it may be a change they implemented. Not a lot of help, but maybe you can get somewhere with this course.....:)
my wife got the same version on her 8900 and the PREVIEW button is available when i send her a pic.
mine was working the last time, maybe a day ago. i dont know what happen.
im doing a battery pull. just hoping it will resolve the issue.

Remove & Reinstall it, OR downgrade and upgrade. I am confident one of those will work. :)

Here are 2 more solutions:
What Hodges was saying was that when a higher version of BBM would send a photo to YOUR version of BBM, then the preview button would NOT be visible or enabled. However if it's a same version to same version transfer then it should work. I would suggest trying to send an image to your wife and vise versa and see if they both work; Maybe however, I'm just reading something wrong here and not understanding. :P That's always possible.
My other suggestion, it could possibly be held within the OS. I would (as a last resort) try an OS format - maybe it'll work out and you can upgrade to a newer version, or try a hybrid that you've wanted to try and didn't have the means to yet. Who knows, with RIM constantly updating BBM, there could always be issues with it.
Since none of us have access to your phone, we can't diagnose it for you - so we have to continue to put you through these possible solutions until we get one that successfully solved the issue.
