WordPress for Blackberry Updated v1.3 and Carrying Some Sharp New Features

This is a little late, but never the less news is news. Yesterday it was announces that the WordPress Mobile Blackberry App had been upgraded to V1.3. This new version of WordPress is sure to impress a lot of our Bloggers out their. Version 1.3 is slam packed with new features and is still running as smooth as ever. Check it out for yourself. I have placed the feature list below and a link for free download.

Features that have been added to the new Version 1.3:

• Option to load more comments, not just the latest 100
• Ability to load comments by status (all/spam/pendings)
• You can now edit the comment details (Author Name/E-mail/URL)
• Option to manually set the video-size when using VideoPress service
• A much requested formatting toolbar that allows you to bold text for example
• A new word count feature is shown on the post/page write screen
• You can now submit bug reports and feedback from within the app
• Multiple improvement to how Stats are handled
• Improvements on the photo resizing options and a new jpeg encoder is now being used

Note: Ability to show comprehensive site stats for self-hosted sites is available for those sites running the WP.com stats plugin

1.0, 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 still all suffer from the same problem I've been reporting since the first release: It does not work if your blog has a hyphen in the blog URL. I run about 25 separate blog sites, and a small handful have hyphens in the domain name of the blog site. 100% of those blogs do not work at all in the WordPress for BlackBerry app, but the other 19 or so blog sites (which do NOT have a hyphen in their domain name), all work perfectly fine with every version of WP for BB. I wish they'd actually look into this and provide a fix. Until then, I have to use the full site in a desktop browser.
