Photobucket Mobile updated to v2.02

The Photobucket Mobile app for BlackBerry has been updated to v2.02. I've been waiting for an update to this app for quite some time and from what I have seen so far it is great. Some features of the updated app are as follows:
- Search Photobucket's huge media library
- Download any Photobucket image directly to your phone
- Upload photos to your Photobucket account
- View all your albums
- Pause the upload queue and resume when your signal improves
- Change settings to adjust the default title and description for uploaded images
I used to always transfer pictures from my BlackBerry to my computer and then upload them to Photobucket, but with the new features included in this release, I have already uploaded a handful directly with ease. I highly recommend this one.

Looks like it is not available for the Storm 1 or Verizon.

Too bad for me, I love being able to upload to my pb account...remember that you will still be able to upload to PB using the email address they provide to you.

I've tried to download this as well on my s2 with no luck. I've contacted support and they keep telling to try to download it. I've been waiting a while for this app to release. They say its for all devices and all carriers.

Download issues

Neolantis and xpbr2000,

I think that message is saying that the build is not available to you, due either to your device or your carrier. In this case, it's the device. The Storm and Storm2 are not supported in the current v2.0.2 release, but support for these devices is coming very soon. :)

Thanks for the info. I've been bugging Photobucket support for a couple of weeks now. lol. What devices are supported? According to the app world page all devices are supported. Photobucket might need to update that.

Got a reply from Photobucket Support saying that the app for the Storm 2 (and probably the S1 as well) will be available Fall 2010.

So..... Thats what I was told.

What devices are supported currently? I've used tour apps on my storm before with success. Just wondering. I want to play with the app even if it isn't designed for my device. still might function well enough until the storm versions are available.

We're getting there ...

We want to provide the best experience that we can, so have deliberately limited this release to non-touch devices. However, all versions of the Storm (95xx) will be available long before Fall of this year. There is still work to be done regarding touch navigation and screen rotation, and we'd like to get as close to "right" as we can before putting it in front of Real People. ;)

Just wanted to let you know that Photobucket Mobile v2.0.3 has been approved by the BlackBerry App World folks. The build doesn't appear to be "live" across all locales yet, but should trickle out as the day goes on.

This is mostly an incremental update with a few bug fixes and performance improvements, but it does add support for the Storm. We hope you like the app, and please don't hesitate to post your comments on App World. We really do read them.

Oh, and there are some pretty slick new features coming soon. ;)
