Thread: Please help to get the myspace app

..No matter from where or how ive tried to get the myspace app i have failed to download/install OTA., same bs "application authentication error 909"..
.Please help me get this on my phone guys!, or copy urs and post them here please!, this i know will be helpfull for others with the same problem

What browser are you using to install the application? Have you tried to install from the App Center?
I will try and convert the jad file to an ALX for you and post it.

Yeah, i have tried that method getting a copy from another phone and it says is installed but nowhere to be found...

Try a reboot, pull batt for 30 secs and re-install. This will refresh your device. Then unhide your Icons and see if the My Space Icon is there, make sure you check the download folder too.

I tried downloading Myspace when I got BB, but it claims it isn't downloaded, even though I can get in to my home page. I will not open beyond home page...what am I doing wrong? Thanks

On your device go to your application center, bb button, refresh the list and see if your my space is installed, if not click on the icon and install

Note that these instructions assume that you already have a MySpace account.



Start the Blackberry browser and go to;
http://www.myspace.com/blackberry


Click Send to My Blackberry.


Fill in your name and your Blackberry email address (it doesn't have to be the same email address you use for Myspace).


After this, you can close the window (Don't bother with the link, just exit the browser).


Your blackberry inbox will soon receive a new email. It contains the second URL I mentioned earlier.

Click the button marked Download.


Another download button will appear... Click this one too.


A quick Bar Graph will draw and then you can click Ok and close the browser.


Look in the Downloads folder for the App.
For ease of use, you might want to press the blackberry button on it and choose send to folder, then Home. This will put it on the front screen of your blackberry.


Click on the Icon, then scroll down to the bottom of the disclaimer and click the button marked I Accept.


Enter your myspace email address and password.


You might also want to tick the box marked "Remember Password" and then click Login.


You're In - and you'll see your friends status' updating.
