In the beginning, a universal remote had to control two or three things (typically a television, a cable box and a VCR or DVD player). Soon, there will be nothing our Blackberry's won't be able to do. lol. Kinda pricey though ($100), but I'm sure as with all things new, the price will drop over time. I also like the Garage Door Remote option in the link, although I see no price for it.

I want the garage door opener haha, be so nice, but the way things are going for blackberry's, its gonna take my dog out to walk soon

I have the logitech Harmoney 1000 and love it in fact I bought the 880 for the bedroom. With those I am safe from this purchase.
