Thread: Berryweather radar blank

I noticed the radar map in Berryweather is blank today... I know there are storms as they appear when I check by computer. Anyone else notice this? I'm in Pittsburgh, Pa.

My radar map for Detroit is loading just fine. When you choose to display the radar map, it usually says loading, along with a progress bar and and the map's size. Are you seeing that as well? Or does it not indicate at all a size? Usually its around 55K.

Yes Sunkast. It shows loading with a progress bar and then the map appears but there is no radar information on it. Right now it is storming...rain, thunder, the whole works..but the map is blank...

I did some research... Punched in Pittsburgh in my BW, same thing. Then I went to wunderground.com, which I think is where BW get's it's info.

The image on there is blank too, and says that the radar is down for maintanence.

Thank you Sunkast. Doesn't it figure they would be doing maintenance during a period of possible severe weather...

I agree. That is pretty odd. There are other sources out there if you really need to see the radar. Accuweather is another alternative.

I appreciate your input. I guess I'm a weather junkie as well as a BB addict.
