Vlingo updated bringing support for the Curve 8530 & OS 5.0 support for the Tour 9630

Today Vlingo announced an update to their app, which brings some awesome changes. Vlingo is an application that let's you use your voice with virtually every application on your BlackBerry to send emails, text messages, and much more. Version 4.5.2 adds official support for the Curve 8530 and official OS 5.0 support for the Tour 9630. Many Tour owners will be happy to hear that. Also, their new feature, SafeReader which reads your incoming messages, got update to increase it's volume. It really builds on the usefulness and makes Vlingo a must have for anyone looking for hands free operation of their BlackBerry. If you purchased Vlingo Plus in the past, it's a free upgrade to Plus v4.5.2.

He must of trained that handset to death, coz I have had the full version since the new year and the only thing it ever gets right is "the fat cat sat on the mat!"

That link I think is if one does not have the app. I have the app and want the upgrade link...

Hmm not sure, maybe theres an update option in the app? If you got it from Mobihand, I know you can use them to upgrade.

I took a chance to use the Vlingo website link off mobile site to download. I entered my email address and apparently it overloaded the xx.1 to xx.2 version. So will test it out and see.

It will probably be like the last update. When you go to the Vlingo screen, it will say update at the top. As I write this, there is no update yet available.

To update this app...got to either BlackBerry App World...or their website and download the FREE version. If you purchased the Vlingo Plus...it will remember.
