    Background application

Hello. I just bought berryweather application, its fantastic!!!

I have put that updates are manual only, and after i close application, when i hold menu button this application icon does not apear.
Does this mean its unactive, and it does not waste any battery, since weather is updated only manually?

    THANK YOU

You are correct. If you have it manual update it is not running in the background and will not drain on your battery or memory.

Please note i moved this post to software/applications

Actually, with the version you just bought, you can set it up for automatic updates...(mine is set on 45 minutes)...and it still does not run in the background, thus saving battery usage. This was a new feature on this version.

With what Orio has said, I have mine on a 30 minute refresh and not noticing any drain.
