    TriniBerry - A review

TriniBerry is an app that you download onto your Blackberry. It is a small size of only a few (34) kb and is basically a web portal to helpful information about Trinidad and Tobago.

On opening the app you are presented with a bright colourful screen which lists the areas of information.

    • Movies – find out what is on in Cinema 8 @ Trincity, and Movie Towne @ PoS, Tobago and Chaguanas complete with timings.
    • Weather – Gives you current and five day forecast for Trinidad and Tobago. And the ten day forecast takes you to the MSN weather channel.
    • News Headlines – stories currently in the news headlines drawn from Newsday and the Express.
    • Restaurants – including a name, the type of eating and the phone number.
    • ATM locations - Information from in and around Trinidad & Tobago. Including telephone numbers and locations.
    • Gas Stations - Information from in and around Trinidad & Tobago. Including telephone numbers and locations.
    • Ferry information - Information from in and around Trinidad & Tobago. Including telephone numbers and locations.
    • Police Stations - Information from in and around Trinidad & Tobago. Including telephone numbers and locations.

A valuable app if you are ever visiting Trinidad just to keep on your phone while you are here and also for the local businessman or resident who wants to have access to information on the move. Well thought out the app fits the Blackberry browser very well. Its nice and fast to load up and can (and for me has) proved useful.

I would like to see possible ratings for the restaurants but otherwise a great little app. It’s a credit to local Trini developers which we hope to see much more of.

Download it here on your Blackberry
