Foursquare for BlackBerry updated to version 1.8

The very popular social networking app Foursquare has been updated for BlackBerry devices. Headlining the updates in this release is a major UI overhaul. Additionally, you will now be able to view your own profile and check-in history directly from your device which are both great additions to the app. Foursquare has also improved the check-in feature as a lot of users where checking in places they were no where near. Overall a real nice upgrade from the guys at Foursquare. With this release, it looks like the app will be out of beta real soon.

Being in Beta, and the fact that they pulled the OTA, you may find that there are functions that are funky...:)

At least you now have the opportunity to play around with it...:1244:
