Thread: TweetDeck developing a Twitter app for BlackBerry

Twitter For BlackBerry, UberTwitter, Seesmic, TweetGenius, the list goes on and on. There is definitely not a shortage of BB Twitter apps. Lets throw another name into the hat. TweetDeck appears to be developing a new Twitter app for BlackBerry. According to their tweet today, they are developing a BlackBerry, Android and a new desktop version.

No official word as to when the app will be ready. But we will be sure to let you guys know as soon as a date is announced. So what do you think? Is there room for another Twitter client? I think the more the merrier. It will only make the other deveolpers push the envelope and make even better apps.

I use TweeDeck for my PC twitter client and I will definitely be trying this out for my BlackBerry. TweetDeck has a good feel for making their PC software simple yet functional so I don't expect anything less for an app.

Slightly off topic but why can't some other company make a Facebook app instead of being stuck with the cruddy one from RIM? Everyone comes out of the word works making these Twitter apps but no one bothers with a decent FB one....

Looking forward to tweetdeck for BB. Absolutely love the app for my mac. Having a hard time figuring out how the columns would fit nicely on any bb besides the Storm.

If it has multi-twitter account support and FB integration I would absolutely consider it over SS.

Omg if it integrates with facebook, game over socialscope! I can't wait tweetdeck!

I dont see why it wouldn't. The columns and FB and Twitter integration are what makes the app so great.

If you want something simple and fast for Facebook, have a look at Snaptu.
