Thread: Barnes and Noble ereader issue

I hope this question isn't in the wrong place.but here goes:
I have the Barnes and Noble ereader on my phone and recently I found out that when people call when I am reading from it- my phone doesn't ring and it doesn't register that I had a missed call either. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and battery pulls. Anyone else have this happen..........
How about Kindle- anyone using that - and if so does that happen with that also?

I asked this question on Crackberry also- but 9x out of 10 when I ask a question there it goes unanswered- yet say something about liking or not liking your blackberry and 100 people respond no matter how many threads there are about it. Go figure! lol

I never have used the Barnes and Noble app. I know Kindle doesnt do that. Hopefully someone here uses the app and can provide more insight.

My g/f had ereader on her phone before getting kindle. To answer your question she never had any issues with missed calls while reading her book tho. I don't really know a solution but thought I would mention that she doesn't have any issues with it. She says she loves kindle 100% better then ereader tho.

I don't really know how the app could be affecting it without that wrote in it's code.

I would suggest an OS wipe and see if it does it afterwords. Since like I said, I have no clue how it can do that without being wrote in the code.

I actually just did a wipe on my phone and re-installed that and a few other apps that I had. I do love the app- but several times when I have been reading people called and then called me on my house phone and wanted to know why I wasn't answering my cell- so I tried calling it myself and got the same thing. Don't know how long it has been going on -but looking back I don't remember ever being interupted while reading. lol Maybe that is a good thing.:haha:
I think I may just try the Kindle and see what happens with that one.

Look in the options for a setting like that.. That actually sounds like a "no interruption" setting.. Lol
