Thread: Twitter for Blackberry beta update to 1.0.0.37 Leaked

Our friend, and fellow BBOS VIP ealvnv over at The Berry Hacker has posted a leak for a Blackberry Twitter update to version 1.0.0.37


ealvnv mentions:

• Option to disable the navigation bar
• Option to disable the update box in the application home screen
• Option to set the font for your time line
• View and create lists
• When viewing user profile, click on the avatar to enlarge
• Option to edit profile
• The application now uses data cache for faster performance

The first thing I have noticed with this update is that it is MUCH faster...I will play with it more, and provide comments in the forum.

Still no editing in RTs... Is it that hard to implement I wonder? Just my 2 cents.

Still no friend picker either. Let's hope they add more features to the finished product.

I like how UT brings you back to the last tweet you read...BB twitter just brings you to the top. Unless I'm doing something wrong.

compared to the previous versions this is a huge improvement

I have to give it my stamp of approval. The first release was garbage. I hated it. But this new version seems to be a LOT better. I like the new additions that they put into this. I now have faith that the release version of T4BB will be very nice. They seem to be listening to the feedback.

Now, give us old style RTs and I'm happy.

Multi-account support?

On an unrelated note, I need to find someone to blackmail or bribe to get the latest SocialScope update. *sigh*

No difference in speed on my Blackberry. Maybe worse in fact. And I thought @ replies/mentions were supposed to be pushed? They ain't!

any way to add locations to tweets? or allow the app to run in the background on close, instead of exiting ala UberTwitter? Besides the end button

It can't be slower, with the cache now you have to wait for timeline/mentions/dms to load the first time only.

you return to the last read twit only if you "exit" the app with the "end call" button.

Locations seems to be for the final release since the "cell location" is in testing process now, and doesn't matter if you exit the app, still keeps running in the background unless u log out...

ok I DL this & when I enter my username/password says it's wrong. I tried like 3 times. So i back out & log into SS & UT w/ no problem. I return to BB twitter app and again it says my username/password is wrong. I delete and install on wife's Tour. Says it's wrong there too. So maybe it's just me but I hate the freaking thing.
