Some love for you business users who want LinkedIn. The fellas over at LinkedIn released an application today specially for the BlackBerry; considering the fact that the BlackBerry doesn't have one yet and both Palm and the iPhone do, it was a matter of time until it got released. With the With the BlackBerry in the field of work that it is, I foresee this being a popular download.
For anyone who doesn't know, LinkedIn is a popular social networking website specially designed for business men and women who want to strive for that extra mile. With the BlackBerry being a business phone, it's only appropriate that it now be equipped with an application made specially for business.
The application runs a very smooth user interface. It works when you are integrated with Twitter, it displays your Twitter feeds directly on the home screen. From what I have read it resembles the Facebook app layout a good amount. The ability to integrate LinkedIn with your BlackBerry Contacts, Calendar and Email is a nice addition as well considering both LinkedIn and BlackBerry are business associated, however this requires OS 4.6+.
Another great thing about the LinkedIn application is it's free! It supports multiple devices (83XX, 85XX, 8900, 9000, 9630 and 9700). It also supports all carriers as well as all countries. For those of you sporting an old fashioned OS, it supports OS 4.3+.
