Google Has Updated Their Mobile Apps For BlackBerry

If you use mobile Google Search (v3.6.11), Google Sync, or Google Voice
(v0.1.7), Google has updated these apps. If you are using the previous versions, then you should update these. You can do this by going to link below....or you can go to m.google.com from your Blackberry browser.

Ok, so I just updated my Google Sync on my Storm 9530 from 0.5.15 to 0.7.2 and I do not see any difference whatsoever (other than it was stuck in compatability mode - but I fixed that). I really had high hopes that maybe they would build a feature into a future release to allow multiple calendars to come down from Google Calendar and be synced to the calendars of your choice on your Blackberry (I have three email accounts on my Blackberry and therefore 3 CICAL Calendars). If I find anything new to report I'll post back. There is a debug option but that was it... :(

May have been so they could include it in Google Mobile for the storm. ::bbos::

I can't get it to accept on the storm. :( It declines just fine, but doesn't accept.

Question about Mobile Google Search... is this a combination of all the individual apps? I've never used it, just Google Voice, Google Sync and rarely the Gmail app. Just trying to figure out if it's worth consolidating down to the Google Search rather than piecemeal the apps one at a time.

This is for the TOUR btw.

The article said it was updated to3.6.11 but when I loaded it on my Storm, it says it is version 3.6.13. Has their been another update?

to the poster who couldn't "Accept" the T&Cs..try hitting the BB Menu > Accept that way. A previous version that was non Storm compatible, gave me that issue and I was able to accept it by using the BB Menu.

As far as changes, the previous version wasn't compatible with Storm. Although you could install it and use to search, the 5 icons that were spread across the top of the app could not be used (GMail, Maps, News, Reader, etc.) You could try to click on, say, the Reader icon, which was the 4th icon, but the screen would only "select" the first icon, being GMail.

Google has now changed some things around and moved the apps to a separate "tab" for Storm owners and now the app is officially compatible with Storm, good news. I just wish they would change the UI for the Google Voice app.

I used my BB Browser to go m.google.com/maps. At that site, I could not do any more. pls help me the OTA link, thanks....

Are you using your phone to go to m.google.com or your PC ? You should use your phone. I just tried it and it was fine.

I'm sorry...the reason I asked is that when I go to m.google.com on my PC, I get the screen you showed. When I go there from my phone I get a different screen. So I don't know. You can go to m.google.com on your PC and click on a button and it will send the link to your phone...so maybe try that.
