Thread: iheartradio issues recently?

Anyone use iheartradio religiously and noticed problems over the last week or so?

For almost 8 months I've streamed iheartradio in my office (Indianapolis Metro area) without even a hiccup for 4-5 hours at a time. I would only shut it down to go to lunch then I would fire it back up again.

Last Friday (3/12) it started dropping the station(s) after anywhere from 5-20 minutes and always towards the end of a song. I initially thought it was buffering only to look back down to see the station had completely dropped. I ruled out buffering problems due to my long run success with the app in my location.

I've not added any apps or changed OS's for over 2 months.

Has anyone else had issues? Is it possible, that after a couple of months, that my phone decided to start cutting off the station? If so, why and how would it know to do so at the end of the songs?

O/S 5.0 (Hybrid by Lyricidal...not sure which one about screen says 5.0.0.451)

Just installed the app on my wife's Curve and it seems to be doing the same thing. Maybe it's the app.

I sent an email to IHR, guess I'll wait and see what they say.

I wish I could be of more help but when clear channel INC(which is who owns iheartradio) started playing some of the stupid games with my local station I deleted it as I completely refuse to support them... so anyhow last I had used it worked fine

I have the same problem on my storm 9530 os 5.0.0.497
3 months ago, and i sent 3 emails to IHR but have no responses

I tought the prblem was that i live in mexico

I hope the can fix it, if so please let me know since i´ve deleted the EXELENT app cuz of my leak memory
