Thread: Google Sync, Does anyone use this program to sync with Google Calendar?

Does anyone use this program to sync with Google Calendar? How does it perform on your phone? How's the memory? Leaks?

Any info would be great.

I am not currently using this app.

To help you get more responses I will move this to 3rd-party apps section.

I use google sync and I love it! I have never had a problem with it and it is so easy to use.

I agree, i just started using it bc the theme i have has the calender stuck to the main page, and justin rampage on here recommended me to get this, and wow i like it alot, very easy to set up too!!!

I use Google Snyc as well. I cannot tell of any memory leaks with this app, nor can I tell of any slowdowns. It backs up all my calendar entries as well as my contacts (minus caller id pictures, and some of the other fields), but hey, for what it is, it is great!!

It's saved my butt two times when my Storm spazzed out on me!! ;-)

Noob question here. How do use google sync? What does it sync with? I have a gmail account, but haveb't used it much. Would I have to set up my gmail account with all my contacts for it to sync?

Google sync will sync all the contacts with your gmail account. Any changes on to your phones contacts list will updated to gmail account contacts and vice versa.

Same with the calendar any changes on your phone will update to your gmail account calendar and vice versa.

You can also add mulitple different calendars as well for it to sync with

google calendar and contacts.. works well.. My wife and I both sync with the following , my work, her work, our joint schedule, us holidays, ohio state schedule, and Dallas Cowboys schedule.. you can also add ical to that gcal!!
