    Opera Mini 5 out of Beta

    Read earlier on CNET that Opera Mini 5 for Blackberry is now out of Beta.

    I haven't downloaded the latest version as of yet but it is available at m.opera.com.

    Downloaded it this morning and have been playing with it, heres what I have so far...

    If it was even possible, I find it faster than the beta
    A new tab on the main screen for downloads. Lots of free stuff, some of it actually useful
    Settings seem a little more friendly to play with
    Opens much faster than the beta
    Bookmarks seem a little more easy to manipulate.

    Only downfall so far is where it saves pictures. So far I can't find any of the 5 pictures I saved. Might have to delete and reload the app. I have done multiple battery pulls as well...to no avail.

    So far what I have noticed

    PROs:
    Faster loading/rendering times
    Smoother, cleaner appearance

    CONs:
    No back/zoom out button when in fullscreen mode
    Not all favicons are displayed in Bookmarks

    Seems a little faster, definitely looks a lot better & the scrolling is smooth. The scrolling on the beta was a little choppy on the storm1.

    am i the only one who cant type in the address bar after activating opera link ?

    after that, only reinstalling fixes the problem.

    placing the ¨cursor¨ over the address bar, and pressing the trackpad, to type, fails...

    no typing whatsoever.

    it looks like the tabs issues have been fixed. Speed... Mmmm... I don't think its really any faster than the beta. I haven't been able to leave comments in the forums. I like this version better but there are still some bugs. My storm scrolls much faster. My tour does also but skips sections. I hope they fix some of these bugs!

    I don't like the fact that the largest font setting is too small for me.
    4.2 was better for that.

    I also can't figure out how to remove the speed dial sites that are installed.
