Thread: Fancy Characters adds smilies and more to your messages

Chatting on BBM can be a lot of fun. Especially if you know some of the secretive chat symbols. But what about those smiley faces? There's only a handful of smilies to choose from. Sergey Demyanov has created an app called Fancy Characters that gives you more smilies and fancy characters that you can use in your email, BBM, IM, and SMS (GSM only). It's a pretty fun application to play with. Just make sure you have East Asian Language and Input Support installed on your BlackBerry. A lot of people don't know the "codes" for those. It is unfortunate that RIM, being a tech leader, cannot seem to add these into the "stock" portfolio.
I do, however, commend those who took the time to gather up these codes and offer them to the users for a reasonable fee.
