Many of you are aware of the the app IM+ Instant Messenger. You might also be aware of the hefty price tag that comes along with it. Developer Shape Services has now came out with an ad supported free version called IM+ Lite. IM+ Lite gives you access to MSN®, Yahoo!®, Google Talk™, AIM®, Jabber®, ICQ®, Facebook®, MySpace, Skype™ and Twitter all in one handy app. This is a feature rich app for sure. The lite version doesn't support speech recognition and push notifications like the paid version does, but hey it's FREE! If you haven't tried IM+ in the past then I suggest giving it a shot. Cool beans, but I'm not understanding something. The Lite version does not support push notifications - does that mean we have to open up the app every time we want to see if we have any new IMs?

No it sends them without having the app open

Works pretty good.

How does it work with twitter?

It works fine. Just doesn't compare to UberTwitter.

Yea its extermly cluttered. Far too much for my taste. But it does work.

So I'll still get the alert/vibrate/noise that I received a new IM, despite it being the lite version? Sorry if I'm asking redundant/absurd questions, but the description of the lite features was a little vague to me :laugh2:

For some reason it won't log onto my gtalk and it does not say i'm online for fb.

It works well for me on FB, Google Talk, MSN. I am using Bold.

I still like BeeJive better the IM+ - Its way cleaner and less confusing and less cluttered...
