Thread: TweetGenius now at v1.1.3

TweetGenius has been at v1.1.2 for quite a long time, but I just checked and noticed it is now v1.1.3. Not sure what, if anything, has changed. Just thought I'd let everyone know. Here's the link: Beejive - instant messaging anywhere

Interesting. No tweets of an update yet from BGR. I'm gonna check it out.

Interesting... A "Fetch New Tweet" button now located on top of timeline. The options have also changed to allow the fetching of more tweets.

Max tweets per list has also increased from 50 to 300.

"Fetch Older Tweets" button located on bottom of timeline.

This version does feel more responsive than 1.1.2. I think its on par with UT now.

I've only seen one goofy bug. If I keep the timeline open when closing the app, it keeps the new tweet count on the home screen (even though I've marked them read). If I close out of the timeline into the main app screen, the tweet count disappears.

I had great hopes for TweetGenius since it came from/recommended by Boy Genius. After trying each release, I keep going back to UberTwitter ...

Slower than Twitter for BlackBerry. And it doesn't have the one thing I desire from any Twitter app, the ability to simply open the app, and type a damn tweet without having to navigate to another screen.

Why pay for a Twitter app while there are so many for free out there...? I dont get it.. Sorry

For me even though you can select 100 tweets in the options to fetch. It will still only do 50 and the setting is reverted back to 50 every time I check it. Good looking app with a lot of promise but just doesn't compare to the functionality of Ubertwitter.

i could not reply to tweets using tweet genius...so i deleted the app...back to ubertwitter...

I like the UI of tweet genius but sometimes I get errors whenever I post a tweet. >< Fail! I still prefer ubertwitter! But lately, I feel loving the official twitter app for BB for some reason. =)
