pocket BLU coming to BlackBerry phones
The word on the street is that the application "pocket BLU" by Deluxe Digital Studios is going to be released for BlackBerry smartphones as soon as tomorrow. Pocket BLU is an application that allows you to control the content of your Blu-Ray discs right from your BlackBerry. This is going to be a free download that gives you the capability to use your BlackBerry as an advanced remote control of your Blu-Ray player (2.0 or above) and offers advanced video time line to access any point of the movie you would like. It also allows users to unlock sections of bonus content to download to your BlackBerry via Wi-fi. Pocket BLU allows you to browse titles of current and upcoming pocket BLU compatible movies and also gives you the ability to use the keyboard on your phone to use Blu-Ray features such as chatting with friends. This seems like a really cool application to add to your current media experience.

This has been officially released. It is available for the Bold 9700/9000, Curve 8900/8820/8520/8350i/8320. OS 4.5 and 4.6.
