LifeInPocket beta...the one fits all app?

While searching the net for news today, I came across this app which was already announced during CES 2010 but now really is in beta: LifeInPocket. Wow, what a name! But from its specs it doesn't seem to be over-promising, offering everything from free navigation and IM, to personalized lifestyle news. Only requirement, a free sign-in at their site. Unfortunately, I was not able to make my BIS settings work with it properly, but if you would like to go for a test drive, just follow this link with you berry browser:

I am using this - it is the only free navigation with voice commands that I could find. It isn't as nice as Gokivo or AmazeGPS, but it does work.

    What it is missing is:
    1. automatic rerouting if you take the wrong turn, you have to hit enter for it to do that
    2. there is a long pause between the "turn right" and the distance to do that in
    3. it doesn't speak the street names that you will be turning on

It has lots of other features and I hope that this one remains free.

I've used this for a while. I like how you can access your address book without having to retype all the info again.
Apps: Quicklaunch, BerryWeather, Meterberry, Berrybuzz, BBMaps, Google Maps, Google Voice, SmartBCalendar, LifeInPocket, ScoreMobile, Level, Edocrab, GPSLogger BerryUnitConverter Theme: Quicklaunch Theme for BerryWeather

And it was working for you on your storm? Or let me ask in a different way...is there any way to change the connection settings in the app? I require BIS and it seems, that the app is trying something different...

Maybe I'll give it a test spin as well.
