I still have the original icon "BlackberryOS" spelled out, that links to the regular website. If I download the mobile icon will it overwrite the original or can I have both?

I won't hold you to it, it's seems that I tried the mobile link a while back when it first came out and it did overwrite the original which took me a long time to find again. Guess it's a backup and try experiment. I'll post my findings later tonight.

Follow up:

I couldn't get the links to work in my browser, got a Gateway error so I did the ol email the page link to the website and used that with success. Now to the question at hand, the mobile icon does NOT replace the original full website link so both can work at the same time.

It won't replace the old one Storm. You can have both.

You would know if it was going to replace it because it would ask if you wanted to replace version x.x with version x.xx.

You are safe to download the mobile launcher though. No problem at all.

You have to delete the "http:\\www" part

I go to m.blackberryOS.com, but it doesn't look like the mobile site...

Edit: Fixed it! I switched my browser from IE to BB and now it works!

haha! yes. The IE browser for Storm was giving me the regular site even though I was typing m.blackberryOS.com

I switched my browser to blackberry browser and it looks good now.

Anyone know of a better setup? I see people talking about Opera a lot... can you do the mobile site with Opera?

Opera is awesome....it's super fast and it's touch not click....just really waiting for them to optimize it for storm
