Just wondering, does this app really work? I got the app in early Jan and I have yet to receive any notices, and before anyone says to check my spam folder, I've checked it and I've set my email app to accept messages from the notification address.

Sent out three alerts just today. Do you have your address set up on your BlackBerry, and registered correctly with the app? I once had a problem where I used the wrong email address when I set up the app. The alerts were sent to the wrong email address as a result and the app didn't see them.
I see you have a 8310. Is that the device you have setup to receive alerts for? There hasnt been any leaks for that model in a while.
i have three models ticked in the app.
Two have had OS updates of one kind or another in the last few weeks, but I got two alerts for my storm a day aftertold us about them.
Im sticking with it for now to see how it goes but it may not be there forever...
Rather then have it on your device and apparently not work right, why not contact them so they can help you getting it working correctly?
I haven't had problems with mine, been receiving alerts since day one...
Short answer, yes, it does work, you may need to check your settings if it's not working for ya.
Have you ever wondered why things intended to make our lives simpler keep getting more complicated to use?
On the 28th there was Leaked OS 5.0.0.464 for the BlackBerry Bold 9000, and Leaked OS 5.0.0.461 for the BlackBerry Curve 8900.
I'm gonna throw out an idea here. If you change your OS, or load a new hybrid...you need to open BBOSalert and re-enter your activation code. It's an easy one to forget, as I have done. BBOSalert will work for the device you have opted for...but it's gotta be activated with your activation code. Just a thought....those who are not getting alerts...check and make sure you are activated.![]()
