NikkiSoft seems to have just updated their highly rated berry app 'QuickLaunch' for BlackBerry. This time, it's an update in favour of all you keyboard device owners. The version count states 2.17.1 being ready for all you lucky 8900, 9000, and 9700 users (other devices to be coming soon, for sure).

is this a purchase only upgrade? I have the earlier version and was wondering if I need to buy it again? I have 2.16 currently.

on yer BB open QL and then press BB key go to QL options and press "check for updates button ..lower left. Some devices have not gotten an upgrade yet...like my storm 2...best out for me is 2.16

If yours has an upgrade available it'll do it from your BB.

It is not showing an upgrade available when you click on the button from the menu inside the app. I guess I'm stuck with 2.16 for now!

I also in your situation!

This update is only for keypad devices. Not for the storm.
