CES 2010: Print from your BlackBerry with new KODAK printers
After we've seen, that we can control a car with the berry (well, at least part of its functions, although I am really missing the real driving-the-car option), that we can do presentations with the berry, here's something for all of you wanting to unlock your photos and docs stored on your device.
Kodak's just announced on CES that they are expanding their All-in-One Printer series into the home office market. Their new AiO printers, such as the KODAK ESP Office 6150 and the ESP 7250, feature latest Wi-Fi technolgogy (802.11n) allowing you to print directly from your newer berries. Their print app will be available via AppWorld in March, they say.
I see Kodak is advertising their Print App to be the world's first direct WiFi printing app for BlackBerry smartphones. Not true, PriApps Mobile from PriApps, offers direct printing of emails, attachments, photos, and documents to any printer ovre a WiFi connection, even to low end USB attached printers.
Thanks for adding this! But I guess, the Kodak app would at least be a free one but maybe limited to Kodak only, while PriApps seems to be a pure commercial one, couldn't find a DL link or price... do you know more?
