Thread: new poynt beta

so i just got a email from poynt they jjust released a new beta version and looks like they are sending it out to the old beta testers from their last update. looks like they have added gas stations to the menu

"Thanks for taking part in Poynt's last beta test. We're ready with another release and would like your help again. This version includes two of the most requested feature sets - best gas prices (U.S. locations only) and weather. We've changed up the home page to include a carousel keeping the ease of use and integration you've come to expect.

The URL below is a one-time use URL that will allow you to download the beta version of Poynt. Sorry to get all corporate on you, but here's the fine print - by downloading this beta version of Poynt, you are agreeing to keep the contents of this version and your beta test results confidential. If you do not agree to this, or to the Terms and Conditions found in the application download, please do not proceed with the download.

Now that that's out of the way, we really hope you like the new version. We're looking forward to your feedback and comments - please send them to beta@mypoynt.com rather than the normal support and feedback channels so we can ensure we capture your experience.

I just received the same thing. I like the new additions. Now has gas prices and weather.

How can I sign up for beta testing or download the beta?

Got it yesterday also. I really like the gas price feature. I verified the price at one of the nearby gas stations and it was right on
The weather info is redundant.

So, where's the "one time use URL"? I'd like to try it.

the one time use url was for me. try going to poynt and looking for a place to go

can someone post the new version #.Been using poynt for about 6 months,havnt received the update message.the poynt website reloads my current version, v1.4.2.72.

I emailed the beta feed back address "beta@mypoynt.com"
asking them to send me the link to the beta download and they did - you might try that approach.

Download failed, invalid cod 907/timed out

now the link is no good

hmpf...they are fast learners...no chance to get a link that way any more...at least not for me :-)
