Thread: Loopt now available for the Blackberry Storm

The makers of the popular Loopt application have released a version compatible with the Blackberry Storm, versions 1 and 2. This popular location sharing application and local search engine is very beautifully done on the Storm and was well worth the wait. Another nice feature is that like Urbanspoon the popular restaraunt finder, Loopt is integrated with Google Maps an makes it easy to get directions to all your favorite destinations. Loopt is also integrated with your favorite social networking apps like Facebook and Twitter.

Although Loopt states: "Loopt is now available for FREE on the BlackBerry Storm I & II (9530/9550)"
...their app is working on the 9500 as well (take Verizon Storm 9530). Not really surprising, but I thought it is worth mentioning.
