Hey, you remember when BBOS leaked 5.0.0.8 several months back? It was pretty hard to come by a BBM 5.0 build back then and we had to wait a long time to get a newer build. Wow how times have changed! Yes, it's true...another BBM update. Just days after making .55 official, RIM has pushed out another update and made .56 the "New Offiacial" build of Messenger. So whats new? Not sure yet. But we would love to hear if our members find anything new or fixed.

To me, it still has my problem with .55 which is I can't send messages since the second day I used it. First day was fine, in fact it was faster than .33 which I upgraded from.

.55 seems quicker, has the Preview now when getting pictures, and the option to delete previous back-ups.

i swear rim is having some issues, they gotta work it out, how many leaks and official versions between last week and this week?

any news on changes?

i still found lag in BBM 5.0.0.56.... some of my friend couldn't access their BBM.... how could this happen? could you guys help me... thanks

I know what you mean...every BBM install through App World always fail the first or even 2nd time. Just try try again. Even after the installation is complete through app world, app world will freeze up. To fix , I hold in BB button then select home screen, then hold BB button and go back into app world. This fixes the freeze for me .

i've just updrage to this version but now, i can't invite contact it's always say invalid address. how come? any suggestions?

Maybe you aren't typing in their PIN correctly?
