Thread: Google Maps

Alright this is driving me nuts. After installing .428 this started. I deleted and reinstalled google maps probally six times and i can not get the full keyboard to go a way. Its like its the wrong version. (3.2.1) is what i am using. I tried disabling and enabling compatable mode, and doesn't help. Any got some advice.

mine is working fine...try deleting and then going to m.google.com and redownload the whole program

tried that like six times. Its got a be setting or something. I am at a loss for words ob this.

I have 3.2.0 and am not having that trouble.. I am not sure why you are.

I just reinstalled. It works fine for me. Sorry you're having problems.
Did you try using the BB key and scrolling to the bottom of the menu, select 'Hide Keyboard'??

A while back there was an issue where using the 5.0 OS on Storm caused google to install the keyboard version of the app (not the storm version). But I thought they have since fixed that now that 5.0 is official.


Is compatibility mode turned off?

yep. i wonder when i get home if i just reinstall the .cod file from an earlier back up from before i installed .428 if that would work. Im downloading capture it to take pics and load up. Its like i am getting a version for a tour or something else. Driving me freakin nuts though i dont like not being able to figure things out.

you can see its only part of the storm screen. when you move it doesn't pan around only scrolls up and down it got to be the wrong version. trying a different link. if that doesn't work i will load the .cod file from a back up when i get home that should fix it I hope. Google maps is a must have for me. thanks for trying to help.

3.2.1 was the issue. Ever where was giving me 3.2.1 needed 3.2.0. YEA thanks guys. Wow kinda disappointed in my self not figure that out sooner
