Let's see if I can help.
Mr wireless. What city or zip are u using? I will enter it into my BW. It may in fact be the weather station that your using.
Which version of BW do you have. 1.5 or 2.0?
Bellshare - Premium Blackberry Apps
I'm running the same device as well as the same OS that you are currently running.
Most everyone, (including yourself due to your OP) knows that this OS does not currently support push notification. This is a case of the OS from RIM and not due to Bellshare.
My installation of the BerryWeather 2.0 application works as advertised.
Seems like it is in your device as all devices are not the same and don't typically act the same as a device similar in nature.
I'm also having an issue. I don't want the weather advisory and it keeps popping up. I unchecked all the box's and did several battery pulls. BB 8530, OS Version 5.0.0.337, BW Version 2.0.54
Thanks John
I highly doubt that I am the only Canadian that is having the lack of advisory issue.
Just for fun, put in York, Manitoba as a location. As of 1800H Thursday, there is a Blizzard advisory that I am getting on a different application.
Yet, Berryweather does not show anything at all!
Also, I put in San Diego, California. I have kept receiving the same advisory over and over again. I believe this is what Mr. Wireless is talking about.
I hope you understand that I had to ask.
The New BerryWeather has just been released and I looked to see how many contest we have had for Apps and I did not consider any other contests except the one we have just had.
Secondly, I beta tested this app and I saw most of the change logs so I have not seen this particular instance with others in the beta forums.
