Thanks for the help though, I do appreciate it.
    Lol, I'm a Dallas Fan.....

How are you rebooting your phone?, by reset from an internal app or a battery pull? I hope you're doing a battery pull.

Mr wireless. What city or zip are u using? I will enter it into my BW. It may in fact be the weather station that your using.

Which version of BW do you have. 1.5 or 2.0?

By the way, I have reached out to their support and am awaiting a response - did so after Brett's post. I am running .320 - the only official OS for this phone, so if the others that are having success are running a hybrid then I most certainly would install that on my phone. I don't feel, though, that I should have to install a hybrid to get a $10 app to work. I'm sure you can understand my frustration, and if it was just a handful of people experiencing this issue then I wouldn't come down so hard on them.

Even if I am making all of this up and there is no "advisory" issue, there is still the obvious home screen update issue, so my question is still valid: How can you honestly defend charging $10 for an app that doesn't work fully? Either provide full disclosure that you're releasing this app for a device that isn't fully supported yet (but at a discounted rate to those that have said device), release a beta at no charge, or don't release the app at all and wait until it's perfected.

P.S. for those of you that said they have no issue with the advisories, can you try this (only if you want to)...turn OFF all advisory types and see if you still get any. If you do NOT get any advisories after this, then you truly do not have any issues with the app...I have a feeling though that some people (not ALL, but some) that think they don't have the issue actually do. Thanks for all the suggestions

I'm running the same device as well as the same OS that you are currently running.
Most everyone, (including yourself due to your OP) knows that this OS does not currently support push notification. This is a case of the OS from RIM and not due to Bellshare.
My installation of the BerryWeather 2.0 application works as advertised.

Seems like it is in your device as all devices are not the same and don't typically act the same as a device similar in nature.

I'm also having an issue. I don't want the weather advisory and it keeps popping up. I unchecked all the box's and did several battery pulls. BB 8530, OS Version 5.0.0.337, BW Version 2.0.54

    Thanks John

I don't mean to yell:aargh4:...but I want everyone to actually pay attention to what I'm saying................

When you uncheck the boxes that means that you want the alerts......

Check all of the boxes and do a battery pull..............no more alerts.

That's the closest I have ever gotten to being called a thief, without being called a thief.....

In any event, you guys had a giveaway for your premium members awhile back for a Bellshare App of my choice. I chose Berryweather....

    Thanks!

I think I would hold off on statements that are as hard as yours are Mr Wireless especially since it doesn't look like you have tried up contact BellShares customer support.

I highly doubt that I am the only Canadian that is having the lack of advisory issue.

Just for fun, put in York, Manitoba as a location. As of 1800H Thursday, there is a Blizzard advisory that I am getting on a different application.

Yet, Berryweather does not show anything at all!

Also, I put in San Diego, California. I have kept receiving the same advisory over and over again. I believe this is what Mr. Wireless is talking about.

I hope you understand that I had to ask.
The New BerryWeather has just been released and I looked to see how many contest we have had for Apps and I did not consider any other contests except the one we have just had.

Secondly, I beta tested this app and I saw most of the change logs so I have not seen this particular instance with others in the beta forums.
