What does this fix?

I downloaded it. No clue on what this is suppose to fix.

I bet this is a fix for the 9700 and 9630 devices...

This .jad has been out since the new beta was released. I think E put a .jad similar to this in the Opera Mini discussion thread.

Yep what happens is that when u go to opera's download page recognizes the tour, 8900 and the 9700 as storm devices, due to that the trackbal click is not recognized, what that jad obtain are the files for OS 4.3 that way it works on the above mentioned devices

well its bout time. lol its working perfect on the tour

i, for some odd reason, can't get the link to work. will downloading the os 4.3 version work? i'm assuming not but that's why i'm asking.

Not sure. Why didn't the link above work?

The link worked for me without issue.

Only thing I see is Nothing will open in Opera when I select it to via email, sms etc. Just opens Opera and sits there.

must be something i'm doing but everytime i try it on my tour i get "HTTP Error 500:Internal Server Error".

make sure you have your browser set to blackberry and not IE or firefox

Link is downloading fine for me, will post findings for the 9700 as to if it fixes the trackpad input problems once its installed.

YEP! Def. fixes the trackpad issue on the 9700. You can now navigate the mouse cursor with the trackpad and use the trackpad button as enter and/or for selecting things! Good work to the guys over at Opera Mini!

This browser is going to be AWESOME when its finished. It will be the best mobile browser available. Quote me now. I was just playing with the ability to download files and man the interface is looking AMAZING, I practically forgot I was on a mobile phone. I was having issues with the download actually starting on ~19MB file but I think its because I'm in a not so good service area with no 3G. I will have to test this when I get home, it may also be a bug they haven't worked out yet when downloading files to your device.

i am using the bb browser and entered in the address that is listed at the begining of this post! i have tried this probably 15 times and same result. could it be i have a setting issue with my browser or me just being an idiot!!!! I had the beta on my curve 8330 and loved it, would love to get it to work on my tour. Thanks for the help everyone!

Did you try jnepsa's advice?

Yes. Just checked and the only option I have available is "internet browser". Shouldn't I have something more listed than that? Just to clarify, I went to options, advanced options,browser.

You can check your Browser configuration by opening your browser then selecting your menu button. At this point scroll down the list and select options. Now select Browser Configuration. In the Browser Identification heading you can verify the correct setting.

Ok, check that and it was set to blackberry. But that got me curious so I check my other basic settings and found that in general settings running WML scripts was unchecked!!!!!!! So now that I fixed that it works. Wow, how dumb!! Thanks everyone!
