    I've tried downloading & updating my BB AppWorld to the new .24 release, and every time I try, it goes through the whole process (Status bar fills up) and then says 'Download Failed'. The details tells me that the error is "910 Application Authorization Failure" after it seems to have dl'd it. Any others getting the same issue? How did you correct it?

    All information that I have read concerning that Error Code indicate that your device has an IT Policy in place.
    Are you using a BES to send and receive your email?

    Nope, I'm on BIS, same as I've always been, personal BB and not thru work, and this is the first time I've hit ANY snag with downloading appworld. Any other thoughts? Thanks for trying with the first one (BES)

    Are you still running that Hybrid and if so were you running Hybrids when you were able to install AppWorld?

    Yeah that's why I posted my issue in this thread as well as the OOAK .405 Hybrid thread in the 9550 forum, and it IS the issue with AppWorld not wanting to update/install. Apparently the .402 Hybrid also has that issue, but I am trying right now to download and install the updated BBAppWorld (.24) after putting OOAK's .351 Hybrid back on my S2 last night, it's the best of the bunch in my opinion. I'll post my results here shortly, but definitely if anyone is on OOAK .402 or .405 Hybrid, it won't work currently without a workaround.

    Yeah, I think you are going to find that something in the Hybrid is causing a conflict with downloads.
    Your device is acting as if there is a security IT policy in place.
    Hopefully by installing a different OS you will be able to wipe any policy that may be in existence on that device.

    I was having issues as well but I did the procedure yourfriendwayned said about enabling compatibility mode in IE and it FINALLY worked!!! Woohoo!

    This is odd...but it works. Found this on BBHybrids.com

    Plug you BB into your PC...

    go to this link on your PC...

    http://mobileapps.blackberry.com/dev...ID=mobiawemail

    hit DOWNLOAD button...and app world will load onto your BB...

    it's the "easy button"...as easy gets :-)
