Thread: MySpace App updated to 2.0

Here is a nice update for all you MySpace fans, RIM has updated their popular My Space App to version 2.0.

Here's the release notes thanks to RIM:

• Blogs: You can post blog entries, edit blog entries, and delete blog entries. You can also view your friends’ blogs.
• Notifications: You can choose which MySpace email notifications you want to receive. You can also choose to stop receiving a new item indicator on the Home screen of your BlackBerry device when you receive a new MySpace profile comment or friend request.
• Custom Moods: You can type a custom mood for your MySpace profile.
• Fixed issue: Previously, apostrophes do not display correctly in your friends’ names and comments.

This is currently available only from the Blackberry App World. If you see 1.5 when you login, don't worry as it is still being rolled out but it should be available shortly.

I downloaded it for my S2 from App World. Worked fine.

I am still getting 1.5.. this is odd. i have tried all the links and even in the app using check for updates

Because you are using Appworld 1.1.0.23 a new version 1.1.0.24 is now available. Which you must download in order to get Myspace 2.0. Upgrade your Appworld first to the new 1.1.024

I have App WOrld 1.1.0.23 and I got Myspace 2.0

I know but it's a glitch...for the ones who can't get it has to upgrade to Appworld 1.1.0.24. It seems to do some sort of refresh which is why 1.1.0.24 seemed to be so suddenly mysteriously released.

I don't believe that would matter as 2.0 is also supposed to be available via MySpace for BlackBerry Smartphones

i have an 8900 on t-mobile

i had myspace 1.5.1.9 on my phone and appworld 1.1.23

could not get myspace 2.0 to show up, so i upgraded to appworld 1.1.24, yet it still didn't show up...even if i clicked on the myspace app in my world. nothing.

eventually, i deleted both appworld and myspace. then did a fresh install of appworld 1.1.24 and then went to my world...myspace showed up as uninstalled. i clicked on it and it started to show 1.5.1.9 but then boom...switched to 2.0.0.19

was able to download, install, and seems to be working.

I had .024 already... i have tried appworld, the link to download it with out app world and I keep getting 1.5. I will try again later today

Prince you dont need to use duplicate posts. I saw the first and also KNOW CONFIRMED BY ME, that I have appworld .24 and am still getting 1.5 for Myspace app.
