you want the 5.0 version. I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the new one

Thanks for the help. The direct download from the bellshare website fixed the issue. Looks like mobihand gave me the wrong version to download.

Fyi i almost had this problem but caught it if you had the storm 1 make sure you change the model number on your mobihand account to the 9550.. i didnt and almost bought the upgrade for 4.7

I purchased mine on the 9th of October, so I contacted them and asked them if I could get the free upgrade. If they do, I'll let everyone know, otherwise, I won't bother updating.

as I mentioned earlier in the thread we'll have a 1.6 version very soon that will have the new weather source but not the bells and whistles for those who dont want to upgrade

I accidentally checked the wrong OS version. How do I get the correct version without paying 3.99 again?

Yah, I e-mailed, we'll see what happens. I give it a 50/50 shot and I won't be mad if they say no. I probably won't immediately upgrade though because I think the older version was the source of my memory leak. (although I can't prove it, so it could be anything) It's currently removed since the "upgrade" messed it up, I had to remove both.

That's the new homescreen function. By far my favorite new feature. And it works flawlessly.

I am surprised by the $4 price tag to upgrade. All of my other paid apps offer free upgrades.

So far, the only positive remarks have been from the admins of this site. Same on the other forum sites.

I just upgraded from 1.5 (storm 1) and have the new 4.7 version installed.... I am running the 5.0 OS. Should I have somehow downloaded a different version and if so.... how do I do this?

Second question.... does updating seem much slower with this version. Is it because I am running 4.7 or because of the new weather source?

You definitely want to use the 5.0 version. And no, updating is very rapid so I suspect it is because you downloaded the incorrect version.

By the way, did you delete 1.5 before installing. If not make sure to do so. Go to the original post of this thread and click on the link. There is an option to download the OS 5.0 version.

I suppose it works better when 1.5 is unistalled, eh. Great new features
