    New App with OPEN GL for Blackberry Storm2! Backcountry Ski!!!



    With all the news pouring from Developers' Conference for us Blackberry users and lovers, we are starting to see app developers taking an early plunge on the Open GL capabilities of Storm 2! This new game is simple, with simple graphics as well, but it is step one to show off the beauty of Open GL support! I know we have many more surprises coming our way...hang tight BB Storm users!!!

    Not Knocking anyone just want to know that even with Open GL this is the best they are going to look?

    I'm sure it won't...this is more like the baby steps.... hopefully we should see better graphics as more developers start coding :1244:

    Does this remind anyone of that really old Ski game that came on your computer back in the early to mid 90s where there were short rainbow colored bars that were actually ski jumps? Wish I could remember the name of that game.

    Not if the Need For Speed demo at the developer conference was any indication.

    It easily looked at least as good as the DS version.

    I get the feeling that EA has just had access to the new SDK longer than the smaller devs. The ski game is likely someone's first stab at OpenGL.
