There is a free app on Appworld called Darkstar . It has a digital compass, and an old style needle compass. Only works if you're moving however as it works by gps. So it also displays your altitude and lat/long

Thank you very much for your info. I just double check the app. world, there is no 'Dark Star', only Black Star available.
