About 6 months ago I bought this very useful software for $ 69.50
I have now been made aware that an upgrade to version Two is going to cost me $ 39.95.
I think this is a rip off and not in any manner justifiable. Anybody else have thoughts on this if so I would be keen to hear from you.

Generally, if you've purchased software within a month or two of a new version's release, software manufacturers will upgrade you for free - or nearly free.

I would contact the developer, as it is likely that they will do this. I wouldn't worry too much about it -

I bought the upgrade and to be honest I don't detect enough difference to warrant the cost. Worth the effort to get it for free if you can, otherwise I wouldn't bother. That's my 2 cents.

I agree with you, I wouldn't pay for the upgrade either
