Thread: BBWeather app, weatherbug alternative

For those interested in a small memory gain try bbweather if you dont like weatherbug.
Personally i have had both and like weatherbug much better, but yes it does use a little more of the app memory and if you change the preference setting to 4 hours and do not set your location it helps.

BBWeather was one of the first BlackBerry Apps I installed years ago. The link you have above is the relic of that application.

That version is a bit temperamental when it comes to newer BlackBerries with a Track Ball. There's a way to get it to work without locking up your device, but even better, someone from BlackBerryForums has updated the application!

It now has a live Home Screen Icon, and can also pull down the Hourly forecast (at least the Alpha version can).

Thanks, thats the one i used for the storm, found it worked fine but just didnt give me enough information so i went back to Weatherbug
Maybe i'll give it another try.
