Thread: Meterberry Updated to 2.0.3

i`m getting this error ;Uncaught exception: 'java.lang.NullPointerException'
cant even open the app.

From the FAQ on meterberry.com:

"MeterBerry offers two reset modes which use different techniques to perform a soft reset. Mode 1 should work for most. If it doesn't, MeterBerry will prompt you to try mode 2."

Ok, giant messed up on this one....I upgraded but no code showed up! :17: Emailed mobihand and now the waiting game. Sucks to be me

I'm not excited. Loaded on my Storm 9500 ruining 5.0.0.230 and it does not run or operate. All I get is uncaught exceptions java errors? So far not good? Appears all of us have the same issue. Sorry Meterberry but its a flop?

Did anyone try this? It may have gotten lost in the middle page somewhere when the thread was ~hot.

I read on CB that someone who had the same problem logged on to MobiHand and changed their PIN to their current one (in other words, changed it but didn't change it) and it created their key

I logged into Mobihand (not Crackberry App Store, but the login info is the same, and it might work with either) and clicked on the Change Device ID link, then entered my PIN (same device, same # shown on my account). It generated a new activation code, and everything works just fine. Now to play with my new software... shiny....

you two's trouble is with Mobihand.. are you sure you have changed your pin to the newest pin listed on mobi? and its mobi not GC. lol

This was stated previously, but I will say it again. the developer used an OFFICAL release .328 to update this app. .230 was alot different than the .328. It will more than likely NOT work with that build.

its not the version of meter berry its the OS on the phone

Ok so I figured it out...you gotta do the upgrade from pc, not from phone. I got my code within like 10 seconds of upgrading and am all set now.

I said that earlier. I too did it from the phone & all it did was download the app. I got the code in the email that was sent when I did it from the pc.

am still unable to run meterberry. guys any ideas or resolution on this issue

Are you getting an error or what seems to be the issue?

I also get an uncaught exeption...contacted their support an they said :
If you run a hybrid or leaked OS it wont run!!!I payed for this and it doesn't work..I am using Lyr's 344 Hybrid on my 9500.

After I install meterberry, I did a real battery pull. Got this error msg. Uncaught exception: net.rim.device.api.system.ControlledAccessExceptio n

am using 95X0 - 5.0.0.238/287 this version for my black berry storm 9500.

The last official OS for the 9500 is the 4.7.0.181.

GC built this on an emulator wich uses 252 OS.So it wont run on any 5.0 Hybryds or leaks.
For 9530 users it is no problem but we 9500 users are scr***d.

I got screwed on the upgrade because Giant origanal instructions said to "Buy" the app which i did and I got my code except it also charged my credit card AGAIN! No where did he say to do it from a pc and not your phone. Will I get my REFUND, I doubt it!!!

For anyone who is having a problem with the upgrade not working on the new os make sure you change the compatability and it will work!!!

Just did it. It works.

has anyone tried this on a tour running OS 5.0.0.230? I've never used this app but i'd like to try it if it will work...hopefully resets will work too.
