Thread: Who has OBD (Obsessive BlackBerry Disorder)

Obsessive BlackBerry Disorder is defined by those whom must have more than 1 BlackBerry and have the constant thought of purchasing more. Are you one of those people?

I will start, I am BBCrackman and I have OBD! I own 4 BlackBerry's currently and I will be purchasing all the new releases. I do not need them but I must have them.

Welcome BBC. My name is Josh and I also am afflcted with the same disorder. I also have 4 Blackberries of 2 I never use, and 1 rarely use. I will be buying every new Blackberry and use them once then put them in a drawer somewhere to collect dust lol. I am also afflicted with Blackberry OS disorder. Welcome brother crackman.

My name is Michael. I have 2 Blackberries. I too suffer from OBD. One of my symptoms is my obsession to check that the signal is constantly showing all bars. Then I'll check that signal against the other Blackberry device to see the difference. My wife said she had a dream that I screwed her phone up and now she doesn't want me to touch it. Sounds awful I know. That just screams to me that OBD is highly contagious. I too will buy new Blackberries as they hit the streets. I know I don't need them...I want them..

Hello, My name is Nicole. I have OBD. I only have one blackberry, however this device has completely and unreasonably taken over my life. What was once a cocktail in my right hand at all times has been replaced by my storm. I fall asleep with it in my hand and when I open my lil eyes its the first thing looking at me. That and a boyfriend's head shaking back and forth in disgust. I have slipped into a confirmed clinical depression with the lack of os leaks lately and when and if one finely does leak it is an amazing rush of adrenaline that I only felt as a child on Christmas. We will not even get into my cross addiction, memory...

Hi everyone....I suffer from OBD, OCD, OMD (obssessive meterberry disorder) and O"BBOS"D!!! I have tried looking for clinics, but no one even knows what those disorders are! :17: so I gave up and refuse any more treatment I just have one storm and it's enough Alright, my stormie is requesting my attention, gotta go...........

There is not a clinic as of yet, the Harvard School Of Medicine has not yet recognized these disorders but as a community of people with these disorders we need to let our voices be heard!!! WE NEED MORE BLACKBERRY'S, WE NEED MORE OS'S, WE NEED TO CHECK OUR MEMORY AND WE NEED IMPROVED SIGNAL STRENGTH!!!! Ok, maybe I need help....

I, too am pretty overcome with OBD.:hail: I have a Curve for work, had a Pearl before, and the wife and I both have Storms currently. I work for a cell carrier and constantly feel the need to sell a BB to every man, woman, and child I see. I sold a Curve to a 69 year old woman the other day.:bigeyes: I sold a Pearl for a 13 year old last week, too.:bigeyes2: "Oh, you would like a durable phone with great reception?
